Belalp-Blatten-Naters - Brig-Belalp
Select your Region:

A highly-colourful region, artistically draped between the valley with its bountiful harvests of fruit and the mountains capped with eternal snow. The deep attachment of the local people to their customs and traditions has a magical influence on the entire region around the Aletsch Glacier.
Summer
The cultural trail that winds in and out of the narrow streets in the historic quarter of Naters; the hamlet of Blatten which offers tennis, minigolf and a children's playground; the famous path used by the witches on the Belalp Plateau, are just some of the attractions that give the Naters-Blatten-Belalp region its special charm. You may fall under its spell!
Winter
We are proud to say, that as of 2006, you will glide towards the clear Belalp air (above 8000 ft.) on the longest chair lift of Switzerland. Whereas on warm summer and autumn days the Belalp is the domain of hikers and climbers, once the slopes are covered in snow, winter sport aficionados reign supreme over the vast winter wonderland of the Belalp. Our tip: Take the chair lift to the station "Schönbiel" and onwards to "Hohstock". With the Matterhorn, Dom, Weisshorn and 17 other alpine giants, the panorama from your starting point at 10,209 ft. is nothing short of spectacular. When you get to the Belalp you will certainly be spoilt or choice – which restaurant ith its sun terrace will you pick? We can guarantee a riendly and welcoming atmosphere or the Après-Ski experience amid the majestic eaks of the Valais.
