Agarn (620 m above sea level) is situated to the south of the Rhone, beautifully embedded between both the Ems and the Märitschi rivers in the midst of lush meadows and immaculate orchards. The charming little village has developed harmoniously and attracts visitors to come and stay or go for a walk through the beautiful landscape. Agarn is a paradise for bird watching in the heart of the Pfyn-Finges Nature Park.
Fabulous footpaths extend over the area surrounding the village. The sun that remains hidden for almost 3 months a year, shines all the more brightly during the rest of the year giving the local people of Agarn their cheerful nature.
On a gastronomic level Agarn also has much to offer. A homely hotel and 2 cosy restaurants invite you to stop for a meal or refreshment.
The 18-hole course owned by the Golf Club Leuk is only 5 minutes away. The proximity of the main tourist resorts in the Valais makes this village the ideal point of departure for day trips.
