A village on the left side of the Muggio Valley, situated on a terraced slope, Bruzella is characterised by its 19th century village constructions and rural alpine houses.
Although the alpine economy continues to exist, the majority of its working residents commute daily to the lower plains, where they work in various sectors of the economy in production and administration. The village is the birthplace of important politicians, among others Emilio Bossi (Milesbo).
