Eischoll Striggen
News
Eischoll (1220 m above sea level) is located to the south of the Rhone on a sunny mountain terrace. The characteristic Valais village with its modern village square (arena) and the distinctive church is home to the “lichtblume” flower. The fantastic views of the Bietschhorn (3934m) and Lötschberg “south ramp” as well as its sunny location make the village well worth a visit for either a holiday or day trip. Eischoll is reached by cable car from Raron or by car via Turtmann or Visp.
The village is popular amongst families and guests in search of peace and tranquillity. Those visiting in summer find a well-signed network of varied footpaths. In winter however, a wonderful skiing and snowboarding area and the possibility of snowshoeing awaits you.
Eischoll – small – but beautiful!
