Schwanden ob Sigriswil

Schwanden is situated beneath the Sigriswil Rothorn peak on a high plateau 900 to 1100 above sea leve. The unique region is known for it’s many sunny days with clear views over Lake Thun and to the Bernese Alps.

It is a family friendly resort which offers guests a good choice of hiking trails amidst untouched flora and fauna. In winter the ski pistes Schwanden and Sigriswil as well as the cross-country ski trails Meiersmaad, Schwanden and Sigriswil-Justistal provide variety for sports fans.

Sirius, the observatory with planetarium in Schwanden allows a glimpse of the breathtaking universe.
