Bonaduz

www.bonaduz.ch The locality of Bonaduz borderts on the Vorder- and Hinterrhein; the lowest point being at the confluence of both these rivers, in the Isla near Reichenau, located som 592 m above the sea, the highest being on Alp Sura 1761 m above sea. The coat of arms of the village indicates its high location. the blue poleon a white backgroud is reminiscent of the two arms of the Rhine, and of parting the ways to the passes of Splügen/San Bernardion and Lukmanier/Oberalp. The area totals 1439 hectares, 801 is forest.
