The wine-growing village borders Canton St. Gallen and the Fürstentum Liechtenstein. The border, on the Luzisteig pass. and also the 2,599m high Grauspitz, lie behind the Regitzerspitz (1,135m above sea level). The Fläscher Alps are also to be found there.
On a southerly facing, alluvial fan on the Fläscher mountains are excellent vineyards. The "oldest inhabitant of Fläsch" - the "Föhn" (warm wind) ensures that the grapes ripen perfectly in autumn. 14 wine growers work 48 hectares of vines from which they all make their own wines.
