The Mining Museum of the Grisons is situated at Schmelzboden near the Davos Monstein railway station. It is housed in the historical administration building constructed in the early 1900s, which, before a landslide in 1933, was twice as large as nowadays. The museum displays: ores, mining objects, photos, documents and many plans from the various earlier mines throughout the whole canton. The display gives visitors a lasting impression of the first industry of our homeland in the earlier centuries.
