The honourable club, "Musik-Collegium Schaffhausen" organises eight subscription concerts and three additional concerts every year. The club has been known under its present name since 1655.
It would like to promote public awareness of good music, especially the elegant orchestra and chamber music compositions. To reach this goal the Musik-Collegium has been connected by contract to the "Im Thurn'schen Stiftung" foundation since 1864.
