The Restaurant Torkel is situated in the Herawingert Princely Vineyard, north of Vaduz.
The building which houses the restaurant dates back to the Middle Ages and is dominated by a huge solid-wood beam that was used in the past to press wine. In the 1960s the site was developed into a restaurant.
Head chef Rolf Berger uses mostly produce from the local region, and even the fish specialties are made with freshwater fish caught in rivers and lakes across Liechtenstein. A cellar containing over 500 different wines from across Europe ensures that diners will always find the right bottle to go with their meal, while the covered terrace offers magnificent views.
