| Natural sights: | Berns grüne Ader heisst Aare und lädt im Sommer zum Baden. Sie schlängelt sich eng um die Altstadt und bietet viele Erholungsräume. Bereits wenige Gehminuten vom Bahnhof spaziert man am Ufer unter Bäumen und sieht sich umgeben von der Natur. |
| Cultural sights: | Weltkultur-Charme: Mit seinen altehrwürdigen Sandsteingebäuden, historischen Türmen und den 11 einzigartigen Brunnen gehört Bern zu den grossartigsten Zeugen mittelalterlichen Städtebaus in Europa. Das Stadtbild ist seit Jahrhunderten praktisch unverändert. Deshalb wurde Bern von der UNESCO als Welterbe ausgezeichnet. Die Stadt mit dem vielbesuchten Bärengraben der Bär ist Berns Wappentier rückt dank der Auszeichnung der UNESCO als Welterbe in eine Reihe mit Rom, den ägyptischen Pyramiden oder dem Taj Mahal. Bern ist zudem Regierungssitz der Schweiz. |
