For the mountain bike trip the Swiss CrissCross team gets accompanied by Jürg Buschor, one of Switzerland's most knowledgeable mountain bikers and author of the Swiss Singletrack Guidebook. The crew starts in the high valley of Samnaun, passes picturesque mountain villages such as Guarda in the Grisons, rides through spectacular canyons like the Rhine Gorge - Switzerland's "Grand Canyon" - and crosses multiple historic mountain passes before entering the French speaking part of Switzerland and ending the trip in Martigny. Using Switzerland's extensive transport system, including lifts, trains and buses, the bike team gets access to the best high points. This gives them free run of the biggest and most exciting single track descents Switzerland has to offer.
