The Niederhorn Cable Car takes you in comfort to the starting point of the orientation hike. The Hasentrail (“Rabbit Trail”) is easy and therefore ideal for beginners. Hikers with intermediate level skills enjoy the Rehtrail (“Deer Trail”). The challenging Luchstrail (“Lynx Trail”) appeals to advanced hikers. The start is at the old mountain station on the Niederhorn.
Special Orientation Hike Cards (OL-Karten) have been created for the Niederhorn trails: Forest areas are marked in white and meadows in yellow. If you compare the map with the terrain, you can easily recognize the meaning of the different markings or symbols.
