The challenge consists of an 88-km circuit, overcoming a difference of 3,900 altitude meters, or a 55-km trail with 2,500 altitude meters in the valley of Grindelwald at the feet of the Eiger and Wetterhorn. The Eigerbike Challenges takes place every year in mid-August and is one of Switzerland's five mountain bike events.
