A mule-track winds its way from the Augustinian monastery of Monte Carasso through vineyards and past country houses all the way to the chestnut grove which is home to the Chiesa di San Bernardo, dating from the end of the 11th and start of the 12th century.
Some of the precious paintings inside the church, which are thought to date from the 15th century, represent, from right to left, the months of the year. The hiking trail to Curzùtt starts behind the church.
