Churches in the Schamserberg region

The lower slopes of the Schamserberg are dotted with little villages. The churches are particularly striking, situated as they are in extremely exposed positions on rocky outcrops on the edges of the villages. With the church of St. Martin in Zillis – a heritage building of international importance - and the other churches in the Schams (Schons) valley, there is a wonderful array of churches here.
