Unique creche figurines about 90 cm high were created by South Tirolean carvers from St. Ulrich as per the instructions of Rev. Victor Buner and church caretaker Beat Gmür. The figurines were carved by hand from stone pine-wood and covered with genuine gold. The entire Ammler Creche consists of the holy family, the three Magi, the Angel of Annunciation, two shepards, a shepardess with a boy, an ox and donkeys as well as sheep, goats and a kid.
Opening hours:
The creche can be viewed from December 24 to Candlemas Day in February in the Catholic St. Gallus church from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
