Hallen für Neue Kunst (Modern Art) Schaffhausen

The leading museum for the “New Art” that changed the development of Western art around 1970. An important museum of contemporary art, the "Hallen für Neue Kunst", is attractively accommodated in a former textile factory. Covering an area of 5500 m2, an exhibition of important work by internationally leading artists of the 1960s and 1970s including Joseph Beuys, Sol LeWitt, Bruce Naumann, Carl Andre and Mario Merz, was established here in 1984.
