Changing exhibitions and collection presentations on five floors with a total of 1,200m² of exhibition space provide a range of ways in which visitors may discover art and its historical background. On permanent display is the gem of the collection, the legendary "Rockefeller Dining Room" by Swiss artist Fritz Glarner. In parallel with the exhibitions, the Haus Konstruktiv regularly holds lectures, talks, and discussions with artists. An attractive cafe-lounge, a versatile museum shop and a reference library in the attic also invite visitors to linger.

The Haus Konstruktiv is the only institution in Switzerland and one of the few in Europe dedicated to the historical and contextual processing of concrete, constructive and conceptual art. It is located in the former ewz-Unterwerk Selnau, one of the most striking examples of Zurich's industrial architecture.
