The collection at the Naturmuseum in St.Gallen offers a wealth of significant material of scientific and cultural historic relevance, mostly from the 19th century. While there is an emphasis on birds, plants and insects, the exhibits also cover such areas as rocks and geology, cartography, prehistoric life, dinosaur skeletons and anatomy, applied geology and geothermal energy.
