The clocks in the current
collection are a homage to both founders, Jean Marc Vacheron
(1731-1805) and Francois Constantin (1788-1854). With the take-over by
the Vendome/Richemont group at the end of 1996, the Geneva company
found its ideal future partner, and retains a large amount of
independence.
Within the heritage area located on the first floor of the boutique on the Quai de l’Ile, various temporary themed exhibitions, along with ancient machines, tools and workshops, antique furniture and archives, together sum up a quarter-century of horological tradition and provide an educational approach to the brand’s history. Privileged visitors will also enjoy the opportunity of viewing films presenting the famous Métiers d’Art (artistic crafts) that are so dear to Vacheron Constantin.
