Mountain Lakes

Lake Cauma is fed by sub-terranean springs. The neighboring lake is Lag Prau Tuleritg, which in turn is connected with Lag Prau Pultè. An excursion to the turquoise-colored Cresta Lake, and a swim in the Laax Lake, are very enjoyable experiences. Below the village of Laax, a nature reserve embraces Lag digl Oberst. The large number of mountain lakes has given the village its name: the meaning of the Romansh name is "The Lakes".
