The tamed River Linth

Between Luchsingen and Betschwanden, the waters of the Linth divide: It was the Hefti cloth factory in Hätzingen that first partially diverted the river, in order to create a supply of energy. Today, a walk along the Hätzingen-Diesbach canal offers a fascinating insight into the history of industrialisation.
