The information displays are intended to increase the perception of climate-dependent natural phenomena in the Alps.
Starting from the premise of a rapidly warming climate, the adventure trail informs hikers also about the causes and global consequences of the greenhouse effect. In addition, the panels show basic approaches to solving these problems and the actions that can be taken.
The Climate Trail is a project of the WWF Switzerland in cooperation with the SESN (Natural Science Society of the Engadine) and is supported by the local communities of Pontresina and Samedan, as well as by sponsors.
