During 4 hours of hiking, visitors listen to the audio guide featuring nine five-minute climate-related narratives that transport them to another time, another climate, and another geography.
The Climate Audio Trail runs from Zermatt via Rotenboden (2,815m above sea level) to the Monte Rosa hut (2,883 m above sea level). The audio guides (DE, EN, FR) may be borrowed from the Gornergrat Bahn valley station, Zermatt Tourism or the Alpine Centre for a deposit of CHF 50.
Those who prefer listening to the information on their cell phones can download it as a podcast on the Climate Audio Trail website or at the dedicated site at the Gornergrat Bahn valley station in Zermatt.
