Every year in September, over 5,000 hunters from Graubünden hear the sounds of the mort – off they go into the three most beautiful vacation weeks of the year: the big Graubünden hunting party. Even non-hunting guests can immerse themselves in the secrets of the Graubünden hunt.
Magnasch Michael, passionate hunter and excursion tour leader, teaches tour groups the hunter’s jargon during half-day excursions. In the “Center da Capricorn” in Wergenstein guests experience what is required to participate in the Graubünden Hunt, what is the difference between high and low hunting, what is meant by mirrors, and much more. With a little bit of luck the guests encounter ibexes during the subsequent excursion in the federal no-hunting zone Beverin. Good Hunting!
