Hot and spicy chocolate

1 Bring the milk containing the halved cinnamon sticks and the stern anise to the boil. Simmer gently for 5 minutes on a low heat. Remove from the hob and allow to stand for 10 minutes. Remove the spices.

2 Bring the milk back to the boil. Break up the chocolate and dissolve into the hot milk. Heat up once more. Sweeten to taste. Pour into cups. Garnish with spices and serve immediately.
