On the way to Lucerne, do stop at Arth-Goldau and take the train up Mt. Rigi - because the «Queen of the Mountains» is not for nothing the favorite excursion destination for the Swiss. Some 100 kilometers of hiking trails open up an imposing panorama. On Europe's oldest mountain train you will subsequently descend to Vitznau, where a lake ship will take you to Lucerne: this is truly a dream tour.
