The Au Bon Vin restaurant in the heart of the Lavaux has many Vaud specialities on its menu: cheese rarebit, "metzgete", cabbage sausage... probably one of the last restaurants which slaughters its own meat (own sausage production and smokehouse).

Typical Vaud-style pub, local food and homemade charcuterie specialities. The owner is one of the last chefs to prepare his meat himself. In the little town of Chardonne, can be reached from Vevey by the Mont-Pèlerin funicular.
