Although both museums offer completely different individual exhibits, they are parts of a harmonious whole. The ensemble – the museums and vineyard trail – was inaugurated in 1992.

A nature trail, which wends its way for 6 kilometers through the vineyards, links the Valaisian Wine and Vineyard Museums in Salgesch and Siders.
