A listed building, constructed in sandstone and stunning neo-classical style, that was the once the management headquarters of the Nestlé & Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Company in the year 1921. The emblem of the Alimentarium, an eight meter-high fork seen from afar as it protrudes from Lake Geneva opposite the museum, is one you’ll long remember - and the unmistakable sign is registered in the Guinness Book of Records.
As of August 24, 2015, the Museum is temporarily closed for reconstruction works. The reopening is scheduled for June 4, 2016.
