Intro

The cheese shop in Leysin is where traditional cheese is handmade under the "Le Leysin" label, using wood fires. The shop also acts as a small museum, presenting unique tools and equipment from a bygone alpine age.

"Le Leysin" is located in a lovely 17th century chalet and has a restaurant where visitors can taste regional products, visit a small alpine museum or even relax in a typical bar environment. The expert cheesemaker demonstrates his artistic skills every day while visitors watch him at work....and, of course, taste the finished product!

Opening hours:
Cheesemaking demonstrations every day at 19.00.
In summer: from 08.30, closed Wednesdays.
In winter: from 08.30, every day.
