Challenging Mountain Hike to Mt. Eggerhorn

Take the bus from Fiesch to Binn; return by bus from Ausserbinn to Fiesch.

Description

This rather challenging hike begins in the village of Binn and goes right in the direction of Mt. Eggerhorn. The ascent to the peak is fairly brief but very steep. Once at the tree line, you will see the alpine hut of Meili. From here continue to the ridge of Mt. Sattulti and then on to the steep flank of the Bru and on to the summit of Mt. Eggerhorn. The view is indescribable. The descent first passes through Sattulti. Then continue to Aebnimatt and Bärg to get to the Schlund Forest. Then continue to Ausserbinn, the end destination of this hike.
