Description
Even the Romans used the pass to avoid the dangerous places of the Rhine. Today the Rhine between Tamins and Chur has for the most part been straightened and made safer. The last stage leads from the Ringelspitz cabin down into the valley again to Tamins.

Haldenstein – Parfuoss – Arella – Oberberg – Pkt. 1792 – Altsäss – Haldensteiner Alp - Calandahütte
2nd Day (ca. 5 h.)
Calandahütte – Haldensteiner Tal – Rossboden – Felsberger Älplis – Taminser Älplis – Pkt. 2008 – Balsura – Kunkelpass – Pkt. 1461 – Beim Ahorn – Grossalp – Ringelspitzhütte
3rd Day (2 h.)
Ringelspitzhütte – Lawoibach – Hinter Säss – Vorder Säss – Sgaiwald - Tamins
