Description
Klosters Dorf – Madrisa Mountain Station - Saaser Alp - Zügenhüttli - Älpli - Schlappiner Joch - Schlappin - Klosters Dorf
At Klosters Dorf (1124 meters above sea level) take the Madrisa Gondola Lift to the mountain station. Here you will find the Alpine adventure park Madrisa-Land. The trail then leads to the Saaser Alp. Continue on the footpath in an easterly direction to the mountain hut Zügenhüttli. Hike on the mountain trail over the Älpli (Little Alp) to the Schlappiner Joch (2202 meters above sea level). On the Schlappiner Joch you begin your steep descent to the south until you reach Schlappin (mountain lake, playground and barbecue grill). Hike back to Klosters Dorf on the Alpstrasse (Alpine road) or on the footpath on the left side of the valley.
