On the tracks of Flurina

During childhood the book and story "Flurina and the little wild bird” by Alois Carigiet and Selina Chönz charmed many. Now, years later, you can rekindle the charm of childhhood fantasies and take a ride back in time with Motta Naluns mountain rail in Scuol, where the “Flurinaweg” path again presents an intact fairytale world to the young and young at heart.

Description

The Flurina path leads from Motta Naluns via Jonvrai, Salez, Flöna and Clozza back to Scuol, with a tour lasting roughly 3 hours. Boards along the way narrate pieces of the delightful Flurina tale: Story of a little girl named Flurina, who, while watching over the family goats grazing (on having moved to the Maiensäss region with here parents to spend the summer there) came across, nurtured and saved the life of a small parentless bird...

Journey:
Daily from Scuol with the cable car to a height of 2146 meters, and back down to Scuol on foot.
