Description
Then upwards it goes: an hour's hike gets one to Niederbauen-Chulm, located at an altitude of 1923 m.a.s.l. From here the view is even better and one can easily spy the many blue bays of the lake, to the South the perfect pyramid of Mt. Bristen, to the West Mt Pilatus and in the South Mt. Rigi.
If one is feeling lazy, one should return by the same route, but more ambitious hikers can hike down the South flank of the mountain. The rather steep trail leads to Seelisberg, from where one can take a train or a boat back to Luzern.
