Description
You can reach Selun from Alp Sellamatt along the Toggenburg trail via Thurtalerstofel-Breitenalp-Strichboden (3 hours). The Wildenmannlisloch (barbeque area), an explored cave passage of prehistoric significance, is located on the eastern ledge of the Selun ridge. The descent follows the same route back to Strichboden, from where you go up to Starkenbach in an open cabin cable car.
As an alternative to cable car transport to Starkenbach, the same route can be followed back to Sellamatt upper station (1.5 hours) and the combi cableway taken back to the valley.
