Description
This route winds along on wide but sometime steep paths from the resort of Wengen up to the Wengernalp and on to the Kleine Scheidegg, with the world-famous outline of the Eiger, the Mönch and the Jungfrau in front of you all the way. However, it is only on the stretch between the Wengernalp and the Kleine Scheidegg that the whole panorama of the three mountain giants unfolds before you. During the first part of the climb, your gaze is drawn to the glittering peak of the Silberhorn. Down below are the imposing steep cliffs of the Lauterbrunnen valley.
Wengen - Wengernalp - Kleine Scheidegg
A wide path climbs more or less steadily from the resort of Wengen over the Wengernalp and up to the Kleine Scheidegg.
