Description
The hike begins at the post office of Libingen. Hike up a steep trail that will make anyone break a sweat. The directional sign indicates Schnebelhorn. After an about two-hour-long hike, one has reached the summit of the Schnebelhorn. Then follow the trail to Chrüzegg, which, by the way, is probably the prettiest part of this interesting hike. From here, the views include a large part of the immediate Swiss Alps. From Chrüzegg follow the trail down to Wattwil. Please note that there are several ways of getting to Wattwil and that it is important to stay to your right. There are two segments that are rather challenging. The last part of the hike is on the St. James Trail all the way down to Wattwil.
