The first section of the tour from Flüelen to Brunnen runs in a constant up and down to the Tell Chapel. The route takes you through a spectacular landscape. The carillon in the Tell Chapel was renovated and is one of the largest in Switzerland. Starting at the chapel, we follow the romantic riverside trail that leads straight to Sisikon. After Sisikon begins the ascent to the Morschach Plateau. The panorama up there is simply breathtaking. It is amazing that the old Swiss Confederates evidently had little appreciation for such vistas. A beautiful forest leads from Morschach down to Brunnen, where the Swiss Path ends.
The careful planning of a tour will ensure that you also derive the maximum pleasure and enjoyment from it. Please take the time to contact the local information centre and enquire about route and weather conditions before setting off. Your intended trail may be fully or partially closed, depending on the time of year and weather conditions.
