Description
Gurnigel Wasserscheide - Leiterenpass - Obere Walalp - Stockhorn
The first part of the route leads quite steeply up to the Leiterenpass.
After crossing the pass, it follows the slope of the mountain on the
other side towards the Stockhorn. Here and there you catch a glimpse of
the almost vertical summit. After the Obere Walalp a path leads up to a
peak from where there is a vast panorama of Lake Thun. On the other
side, your gaze is drawn upwards to the mighty rocky dome of the
Stockhorn. Then the path continues steeply, no, very steeply round the
right-hand side of the rocks up to the very summit.
