Baden - Baldegg - Gebenstorfer Horn - Brugg

Just here between the town of Baden on the Limmat and Brugg on the Aare is the confluence of the big rivers of Central Switzerland, the Aare, the Reuss and the Limmat, which is why this is also called Switzerland's moated region. From the Gebentorfer Horn you can see quite clearly where the three rivers meet.

Baden – Baldegg - Gebenstorfer Horn – Brugg

From Baden, the path climbs first up to the ruin of Stein. The views over the old town and the Lägeren hills are fantastic. Then the Jura Mountain Trail leads on past the popular tourist restaurant at Baldegg and up to the Gebentorfer Horn. From here, the confluence of the Aare, the Reuss and the Limmat can be seen very clearly. Finally, the route leads through the picturesque Old Town of Brugg.
