The careful planning of a tour will ensure that you also derive the maximum pleasure and enjoyment from it. Please take the time to contact the local information centre and enquire about route and weather conditions before setting off. Your intended trail may be fully or partially closed, depending on the time of year and weather conditions.
Hello, We are interested in the Mannlichen-Kleine Scheidegg trail and we will be doing it in late May (May 28-30). Will the trail be open by then? Thank you!
Hello from Wengen, Thank you for your interest. We normally still have snow on the mountains in April. For security reasons this trail will be therefore closed. I would recommend that you take the train up to Kleine Scheidegg, then walking down to Kleine Scheidegg. Depending on the weather and snow-condition you can extend your hike to beautiful trails. I hope to see you in Wengen soon. Best regards from the Tourist Center of Wengen
Can I do this trek in the month of April (Mid April)? it says season is from June to October
