Lake Lauenen above Lauenen is the epitome of a perfect mountain idyll. Located not far from Gstaad, there is nothing to remind you of the hustle and bustle of the busy center of tourism. One already feels transported to another time and age in the small authentic village of Lauenen. At the shores of the lake one can find that seclusion and tranquility amid idyllic surroundings, that are perhaps becoming harder to find even in the Alps, since the advent of adventure tourism and activity vacations.
