One can begin the musical trip at one of the three mountain stations of Selamatt, Iltios or Oberdorf. The hiking time for all stages is about 2.5 hours; with sound-experience and rest period one should allow for 5 hours of time. The stage “Sellamatt” can also be used with children’s strollers and wheel chairs.
Near Dunkelboden, there is the option of an extra loop on the Sound Route around the two Schwendi lakes with 4 extra sound stations.
The careful planning of a tour will ensure that you also derive the maximum pleasure and enjoyment from it. Please take the time to contact the local information centre and enquire about route and weather conditions before setting off. Your intended trail may be fully or partially closed, depending on the time of year and weather conditions.
