Wäsmeli - Romontberg - Plagne

Grenchenberg

The hike from Stierenberg across Mt. Romont to Plagne is a unique tour that can be hiked all year round. In winter, for example, the trail forming part of the Jurassic High Route Zürich - Geneva is well maintained and can be hiked all along the trail. Everywhere on the Jurassic High Route the hiker is accompanied by breathtaking views of the Alps and the Midland. A special highlight is a stop at the Romontberg restaurant, a typical Jurassic mountain inn, which is managed by the farmer himself and has maintained its original character.
