Description

Enjoy winter hiking without stress. In the quiet side valley of the Avers high valley, you will discover a different world of nature, marvellous sights, and peace and quiet. The winter discovery begins at over 2000 meters in Juppa near the large parking lot (Ponylift) behind the natural ice rink. Walk on the winter hiking path alongside the cross-country ski trail and delight in the fantastic views of the surrounding snow-covered mountain peaks and the slopes served by three ski lifts. The further you walk into the valley, the more tranquil it gets. While you hike, you forget the hectic day-to-day life and all you will think about is the fantastic mountain scenery. Basking in the sun at one of the alpine huts is another highlight. On the way back, you continue to savour the quiet winter landscape and look forward to something hot to drink, a light meal or a lovely glass of wine on one of the three sunny terraces at Berghotel Turtschi, Restaurant Bergalga or Restaurant Cavetta.
