Winter hike Sainte-Croix / Les Rasses

Ste-Croix

Sundeck of the Waadtländer Jura – that is what the Ste-Croix / Les Rasses region likes to call itself. No false modesty there! In winter, the two villages are often swathed in fog, but if visibility is good, the views extend as far as Mont Blanc and the Alps of Central Switzerland. Cross-country skiers in particular will find the conditions here at the foot of the Chasseron to be excellent. In addition to the vast network of tracks for skiers, there is a small, but exquisite selection of hiking trails for those who enjoy winter hiking as well. The short tour from Les Rasses over to Les Cluds and back is the best possible proof of this.
