Obersee Lake – Klöntal Lake

Näfels

Lengthy hike through the Obersee Valley and over the Längenegg Pass (1,814 meters) to the Klöntal Valley. From Lachengrat (highest point of the hike) the peaks of the Glärnisch seem close enough to touch. The view of the Klöntal Lake rewards you for your efforts and entices you to a refreshingdip in the lake.

Obersee - Sulzboden - Sulz - Lachenalp - Lachengrat (Längenegg Pass) - Alp Obere Längenegg - Vorauen Klöntal (Klöntaler Lake)

From Lachengrat (highest point of the hike) the peaks of the Glärnisch are close enough to touch.

Gentle ascent on a well-groomed trail to the Längenegg Pass. The descent is somewhat steeper, but at the lower end follow a wide mule track.
